Ambulance technicians now play a primary role in the prehospital treatment of patients suffering from acute CVAs. The purpose of this module is to demonstrate to ambulance technicians how to implement acute CVA screening protocols and thereby ensure patients receive the appropriate care as rapidly as possible and transported to facilities equipped to treat this problem effectively.
